AI enablement · Operations · Human adoption

I turn the work that slows teams down into systems that move them forward.

I'm Joanne Giang, a hands on AI enablement and operations leader. I find where work gets stuck, build practical solutions, and help people adopt new ways of working that create measurable value.

How I work

Start with the people doing the work.

I don't start with a tool and look for somewhere to use it. I map the workflow, learn where the friction lives, and separate the work that needs human judgment from the work that does not. Then I decide whether AI, automation, or process redesign is the right answer.

Career story

Execution, at a glance.

From leading a hundred person operation to making AI useful across a company, the through line is the same: understand people, improve the system, and deliver a result.

Leadership beyond the job title

Community is part of the work.

Since 2018, I've held leadership roles with the National Association of Asian American Professionals in Los Angeles, building volunteer leaders, partnerships, programs, and community initiatives. I also led community engagement as Ambassador President for the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce.

What matters to me

The human side

Balance “me” and “we.”

As an Asian American, I have navigated the contrast between individualistic and collectivistic cultures. I believe strong teams make room for both: the value of each person and the power of what we can accomplish together.

G

Generosity

Information should be free.

I

Ingenuity

Think outside the box.

V

Value

Add value before taking.

E

Empathy

Deeply listen to understand an individual's situation.

R

Respect

Seek to learn from different experiences and perspectives.

What's next

The work I want to keep doing

Turn AI experimentation into a scalable way of working.

I'm looking for a role where AI adoption is treated as an operating challenge, not a training campaign or another tool rollout.

I want to build with subject matter experts, develop champions, share repeatable skills, and measure workflows converted, hours returned, and business value created.
